Hot idea

Right now, most solar power plants use sunlight to mechanically create energy through heat, steam, turbines and electric generators. Now a new breed of solar plants are using solar heat to run a chemical plant. Carbon dioxide is chemically split. The resulting Carbon monoxide is combined with hydrogen to create a hydrocarbon fuel.
